WHAT’S INSIDE THE APRIL GROW KIT
April brings a welcome shift in the garden, longer days, softer temperatures and soil that’s ready to burst into life. It’s a month full of fresh energy and the perfect time to get growing. The herb in this month’s Grow Kit is coriander, a fast growing, flavour packed herb that thrives when sown now.
Coriander is all about freshness, quick to establish and generous in its growth, it offers a steady supply of vibrant leaves that bring brightness to every dish. Whether scattered over salads, stirred into curries or added as a finishing touch, it’s a simple way to elevate everyday cooking. Alongside it, Charlotte potatoes bring substance and satisfaction, while cucumbers add a crisp, cooling contrast, creating a balanced mix for both garden and kitchen.
Each Monthly Grow Kit Box is designed to support you from the very first step. Inside, you’ll find carefully selected, open-pollinated seeds, plant labels and simple growing guides to keep things clear and enjoyable.
You can also enhance your setup with our organic compost mix, biodegradable pots and recycled plastic saucers, everything you need to give your plants the best start as the season unfolds.

CORIANDER
Coriander is a bright, versatile herb that brings fresh, citrusy flavour to a wide range of dishes. From leafy salads to warming curries and vibrant salsas, it’s a kitchen staple that adds instant lift and depth. Both the leaves and stems are packed with flavour, making it a wonderfully efficient and rewarding plant to grow.
It’s also a fast growing crop, perfect for sowing little and often to ensure a continuous supply. Whether grown in pots on a windowsill or directly in the garden, coriander is ideal for adding a steady stream of freshness to your cooking throughout the season.

HOW TO GROW CORIANDER
Coriander is best sown directly where it’s going to grow, as it doesn’t like being moved. Fill a pot or prepare a patch of soil with fine, well drained compost and scatter the seeds thinly. Cover lightly with soil and water gently.
Place in a sunny or lightly shaded spot and keep the soil consistently moist. Seeds usually germinate within 7–14 days. As seedlings grow, thin them slightly to give plants space to develop.
Harvest leaves regularly once the plants are established, snipping from the outside to encourage fresh growth. For a continuous supply, sow seeds every few weeks. Try to keep plants cool and well watered to slow bolting in warmer weather.
