Seed Folk on ITV’s Be Your Own Boss: Launching 19th October 2025!

We’ve been bursting to share this news… and now we finally can!
This Autumn, Seed Folk will be appearing on a brand-new ITV series, Be Your Own Boss, presented by Holly Tucker MBE, founder of Not On The High Street and long time champion of British small businesses.
The show launches Sunday 19th October on ITVX for download and ITV1 at 13:15pm, the perfect feel good series for your weekend cuppa.
About The Show: Be Your Own Boss
Described as “Sort Your Life Out for Small Businesses”, "Be Your Own Boss" is an uplifting look behind the scenes of the UK’s creative entrepreneurs.
Each episode follows two independent business owners, from woodworkers and florists to seed suppliers (that’s us!) as Holly offers her signature blend of expert guidance, encouragement and honest advice. She helps entrepreneurs find clarity, confidence and a renewed sense of purpose, giving them the tools to take their dreams to the next level.
It’s warm, witty and full of heart, proof that with a little belief (and a lot of hard work), small ideas really can grow into something big.
Our Seed Folk Journey
When I was first invited to be part of the show, I couldn’t quite believe it. Seed Folk began as a simple idea on my allotment, a way to help more people reconnect with nature and discover the joy of growing their own food.
Fast forward a year and a bit and we’ve grown into a small but mighty business, sending hand packed, eco friendly seed kits and gift boxes to homes across the country.
Taking part in Be Your Own Boss was an incredible opportunity to reflect, refocus, and with Holly’s guidance explore how to grow Seed Folk even further. Without giving too much away (you’ll have to tune in!), it was an experience full of inspiration, tears, laughter, and big ideas for the future.
I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved and can’t wait to share this next chapter with you all.
