Step 1 – Sow Those Seeds (Feb - oct)

Sow seeds 1 cm deep in pots or garden beds. Space 5–8 cm apart. For and extended season, sow indoors on a bright windowsill in October or February. Keep soil moist but not waterlogged. Germination takes 7–10 days.

STEP 2 - WATCH THEM GROW

Water regularly and feed every 2–3 weeks with Seed Folk or general purpose fertiliser.

STEP 3 - KEEP THEM GROWING

Your coriander plant will generally benefit from full sun however in the height of the summer its OK to move it to a partially shaded spot. If growing inside consider using a grow light to ensure your plant thrives. Remove flower stems early if you’re growing for leaves, or let them bloom to collect seeds later.

STEP 4 - HARVEST TIME

Pick outer leaves as needed once plants are 15–20 cm tall. Regular picking encourages fresh growth. When the plant flowers you can either pick the flowers to encourage more leaf growth or leave them on the plant to form seeds.

Top Tip: For continuous harvests, sow new seeds every 3–4 weeks.
